Scarlet is a beautiful little blue eyed girl who looks a lot like her dam CH Poppy Patch LM Red Red Rose. She is a nicely put together kid with great body capacity, dairy strentgh, correct rear legs, & lots of width between the hocks. She does toe out a bit in the front & could use a bit more length of body - but I think that will improve with maturity. Scarlet freshened with a beautiful & correct mammary system. She did very well in the show ring the one time shown as a FF 2 year old. I would have loved to keep her & show her some more, but the barn was getting too crowded & I am more attached to my other 2 year old does Willow & Nutella, so Scarlet went to a new home with one of her daughters. I hope to see her in the show ring again in the future.

Gypsy is a beautiful doe with exceptional dairy strength. She is long & level. Those long legs make it easy to fit a milk pail under her when her udder is full, but unfortunately have also caused her to measure over height a couple times at shows. Overall I am very happy with her udder. She has very large well placed teats, a strong MSL and is really easy to hand milk. She could use a bit more height & width to her rear udder & could definately use some improvements in her attitude. She was one of my favorites as a yearling & was just a pleasure to be around, but has apparently entered the terrible two's this year! She has improved quite a bit after her 2015 kid went to his new home & I am hoping she will just behave herself all year next year.

Sapphire Moon ST Sienna "Sienna" *SOLD*

Sienna is sort of the black sheep of the family. She doesn't look or act anything like her blonde sisters Goldie & Camellia. Sienna is tame, but not overly friendly. She has sharp withers & blends smoothly. She moves very gracefully & looks like a little deer prancing around the field. Sienna is had a very easy time kidding, dispite having quads that were coming out in multiple wrong positions. Her first boy was breach & while I tried to get him repositioned so I could get his rear legs coming out Sienna pushed him out butt first. He was only 2 lbs so that probably helped. Next kid was about 3.5 lbs & popped out head first. Third little doe was around 3 lbs & came out feet first with her head rolled back (which is normally not a position does can deliver). I was trying to find the kids head to reposition her (it was tucked under her quite well!) when Sienna pushed & the kid came right out. Last buck was a big boy 4.25 lbs & was back legs first. All 4 came out with no trouble. I tried to reposition the ones that were really coming out wrong, but Sienna pushed them out so quickly on her own that there was no time for that. Sienna is a great milker, but doesn't have the rear udder height or lateral udder attachments needed for the show ring. Her daughter Willow, and her adorable little wethered boy Harley, will be retained.

Poppy Patch FV Catarina "Catarina" *SOLD*

Catarina was not handled much as a kid & was very wild when I got her. She is fairly friendly now, but still a bit shy at times. Catarina can really make milk! At peak production she produced a half gallon of milk per day - as a first freshener. She has incredibly soft udder texture. I really wish she had larger teats, but she does have fairly large orifices & I am able to hand milk her pretty easily. I would also like her to be a little taller so I could actually fit a milk pail under her huge udder a little easier. Catarina is longer & leveler than she appears in these photos. She tends to tuck her rear end a bit when I set her up. Catarina is the best mom - she is so nice to all of the kids & took excellent care of her triplets. One of Tori's kids was too week to join the herd for a few hours due to a difficult delivery & once strong enough, Tori wouldn't take her. Catarina went into labor a few hours after Tori kidded & adopted Tori's kid. She fed & took care of her for the first 48 hours. Then she decided 3 kids were enough to feed, so I bottle raised Tori's kid from there. Even though Catarina stopped feeding her she still looked after her. All of the kids that were born this year just love Catarina & are more upset if I take her out of the pen than if I take their own mothers. I retained both of Catarina's 2014 doe kids (Hazelnut & Wisteria), they are both gorgeous & have been doing well in the show ring.

Sue is not very photogenic and I cant seem to get a good picture of her.  Sue has nice front end assembly, sharp withers, straight front legs & tight toes.  She has great dairy character & a long neck that blends smoothly into her body.  Her udder has an incredibly strong MSL, smooth fore udder attachment & large easy to milk teats.  I would like to see a little more height & width to her rear udder attachment.  She has a very pretty face & mellow sweet personality. Sue kidded twice here - both times with a single buck kid & enough milk for quads.  She has incredibly soft udder texture & large easy to milk teats.  Her udder collapses down to absolutely nothing . . . it is like watching a balloon deflate.  She is my most difficult doe to dry up.
